This catalogue adds Library of Congress Subject Heading to its listings and provides comprehensive
annotations to each electronic journal in the catalogue along with a link to the journal’s site.
A searchable directory of free, full text, scientific and scholarly journals across a wide range
of disciplines.
A searchable archive of free articles on the Internet
Catalogue of university electronic theses and dissertations collections; some resources are
viewable, others are for parent institution use only.
The Stanford University based publisher provides access to over 700,000 free articles, primarily in
biomedical disciplines, though the most recent issues of journals are often unavailable.
A site that rounds up articles on such subjects as computers, health, business, entertainment, and
politics. When you find an article that helps, the site scouts out more like it.
Direct links to over 7000 scholarly periodicals which allow some or all of their online content to
be viewed by for free (though some may require free registration).

Prism is a publisher of trade magazines as well as a provider of other business services. Its
site provides searchable access to selected content from approximately 100 of the company’s
publications.
ePrints-UK searches across nearly 20 UK institutional open archives. Use this search to find
descriptions of a range of journal articles, technical reports and web pages and to link to the
original item where these have been made available by the institution.

The SSRN eLibrary consists of two parts: an Abstract Database containing abstracts on over 60,500
scholarly working papers and forthcoming papers and an Electronic Paper Collection currently
containing over 38,400 downloadable full text documents in Adobe Acrobat pdf format. The eLibrary
also includes the research papers of a number of Fee Based Partner Publications.
Launched by the British Medical Journal and HighWire Press, this site provides a place for authors
to archive their completed studies before, or during peer review by other agencies. It covers
original research into clinical medicine and health.
An expetimental search service. Searches important preprint servers and then delivers the
information in a clear manner using user selected sorting.An alternative, possible source of journal articles is the British Library (you will be charged for each copy you are sent).
A good source of financial and legal periodicals is the Sweet & Maxwell DocDel service, which has over 1,000 titles although again you will be charged.
